The 2nd appointment

So sorry this is late. Work has been keeping me extremely busy and finding the energy to look at a computer after I leave the office has been impossible. However, I find myself with a few minutes to spare today.

Tomorrow I will be 13 weeks along. We went in for our 2nd appointment last Wednesday and had another sonogram performed. This one takes the cake! It was really crazy and made this whole thing ridiculously real. Baby Kelly was literally dancing for us!!! We could see her/his fingers, toes, arms, legs, elbows, knees, spine, head/face. That baby was moving around so much the technician even made a comment to which I said, well...doesn't surprise me knowing who the father is! I mean come on...we call him Busy Timmy!

We also got to hear the heart beat. Very fast, beating at 160 beats. I'm happy to report that Baby Kelly is just perfect...growing just as to be expected. Also, all my blood work come back without any problems, my blood pressure is very low, 90 over 50 and I've only gained 3.5 lbs.

We have our next appoint on April 30th and they said that as long as the baby is willing to cooperate, we'll be able to tell whether she's a she or he's a he! I can honestly say, neither Tim or I care one way or another. However, Tim took one look at the baby during the sonogram and called it...he's sure we're having a girl. Contrary to popular opinion as everyone else I talk to is positive it's a boy. We shall see...

My belly is just finally starting to pop out a bit. I promise to start sharing pictures of the growing buddha as soon as it starts looking like I'm pregnant and not just over indulging on the pasta and wine every night (no...I'm not drinking, just trying to paint a picture here).
